What people are saying
Does Look Local work? We took the time to ask our customers and franchisees. See what they all had to say below:
Look Local Franchisees
I have been impressed with the support and
training. With the invoicing taken care of I
have more time to focus on getting to grips
with running the business and increasing the
revenue. Initially I spent 10 days with the
existing franchise owners learning the ropes,
and since then have had full support from
head office. Look Local has also found a
printer which the whole franchise network
use and by bulk printing our directories we
save a lot on the costs of printing!
Dean Marshall, Look Local (Shirley)
Look Local is ideal for people who want to work from
home, are good communicators and are PC literate.
You need to put the effort in, but all in all we love it.

Warwickshire College's Kenilworth Leaning Centre has been advertising in the Burton Green / Tile Hill Villiage edition of Look Local every month for about a year now. When the Kenilworth edition of the publication was launched last montha sililar advertisement was placed. I am pleased to say that the response from this advertisement was very encouraging and I will be placeing regular ads in both editions from now on.
Paula Curtis, Warwickshire College
Having advertised in the local press and various other media before I can say that I had a much better response from the Look Local than the other types of localised advertising. I will definitely be advertising again.
Keith Green, Keith Green Football Academy
I've been advertising with you for just over a year now and have been happy with the targeted response your publications attract. People are always happy to mention they saw my ad in the 'little yellow book', and it does appear to be one of the few pieces of unsolicited mail that people enjoy receiving. Many seem to get thrown into the bin, but not Look Local apparently. The main benefit to the readers is that each publication is targeted at a community level, and the adverts reflect the readers requirements. Larger publications, such as local newspapers, cannot provide a targeted approach such as this and are prohibitively expensive.
Jase Jennings, Elmdon Micros
I currently advertise in 6 Look Local areas in Solihull. I started with one and within a short space of time I realised that this was the most effective way of taking my services to the local community. I have recently entered into a 12 month contract to take advantage of the benefits this offers and I would certainly recommend this form of advertising.
